While Vanita Vishram Women's University officially achieved its university status recently under the Gujarat Private Universities Act of 2021, its foundation is deeply historical. The Vanita Vishram Trust was founded in 1907 by social reformers with a singular mission: the upliftment and empowerment of women, especially widows and the underprivileged, through education. Over a century, the trust evolved from running basic vocational schools to premium colleges, eventually consolidating them into VVWU. Eligibility Criteria

Undergraduate Programs (B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Sc): Candidates must have passed the 10+2 board examination from a recognized board (GSEB, CBSE, ICSE) with a minimum aggregate (usually around 45-50%), and relevant subjects for science or commerce streams.

Postgraduate Programs (MBA, M.Sc): A recognized Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with qualifying marks. MBA admissions may consider management entrance test scores alongside graduation merit.

Ph.D. Programs: A Master's degree in the relevant subject followed by clearing the university's proprietary entrance examination and interview rounds.
